SteelSwarm



 
Born from the bowels of hell comes the fast, catchy, addictive music that sticks in your brain like shit to a blanket.
 
If you haven't figured it out already (revisit the freakin' photo header then), these guys are SteelSwarm and we've got them for INSTITUTIONALIZED FEST 2013!
 


A force of high-energy, hair-flailing, head banging destruction, Sydney's SteelSwarm  are inspired by real metal.
 
Forged in a hellish jail like room, brothers Dane and Jamie started creating the head crushing rhythms which SteelSwarm now go by back in 2007. After spending 5 years in solitary confinement they abandoned everything else to chase 'the metal' in April 2012.
 
Now they've arrived at this point of time with us, INSTITUTIONALIZED FEST and SteelSwarm collide on  July 13th, 2013 at the Square in Haymarket!

    Their drummer was unceremoniously thrown out of the band in April. Since then, the band has been on fast decline, pulling out of many shows and just not showing up to some. I would NOT recomend this band.

      Sounds like an intuitive and insightful comment from an 'ex-drummer' perhaps?!? LOL

      That's fine, we're open to all points of 'subjective' views on this blog. Needless to say, we have them locked in for INSTITUTIONALIZED FEST 2013 and as bands of this nature tend to do, they prove their detractors and disparages wrong time and again.

      Come to INSTTITUTIONALIZED FEST this July and watch them make you eat humble pie!!

      No, just a former fan who spent their hard earned money to see them at the Square only to be left waiting due to them not showing up. Good job fellas, Lost a fan.

    Well there's going to be 12 other bands at INSTITUTIONALIZED FEST, that'll save any hardship...any if you buy yourself a ticket now I'll shout you a beer or two at the festival - could be a good deal, you never know :)
